People in Clawson care about the place they live. The hard part is keeping up with it. What is happening is spread across meeting portals, social feeds, flyers, and PDFs, and by the time you find the thing you cared about, the moment to weigh in or show up has often passed.
Commonwealth is one clear, plain-language place to see what is happening, follow the few things you care about most, and know how to take part while there is still time.
Clawson is the little city with a big heart, a place where people show up for each other. That is why we are starting here. Commonwealth covers the whole of the town's life: what the city is deciding, what is happening at the library, the schools, and the senior center, the town's history, and the local groups doing steady, quiet work. The things that make a town a town, easier to find and easier to be part of.
So much of a town runs on a few stretched people: staff, volunteers, coaches, organizers. They already do the work. Commonwealth exists to help more of the town find it, with each group posting in its own name, for free, and nothing new to learn or maintain. As we build, we are sitting down with Clawson's institutions one at a time, so this fits the way they actually work.
